Something to keep in mind if I don't use them in the Overlook quilt--which is still in limbo. I'm so happy you noticed the pink variegation in the water. I have a feeling my water would have been pretty bland without it, because the sky is so colorful. On to yet another sweater for Lucy. These days I seem to be as much interested in knitting as quilting. Go figure!
Love,
LindaLinda Wulf Koenighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05923385161588309971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7101100114126500336.post-75017789000606385792015-08-15T11:15:36.254-07:002015-08-15T11:15:36.254-07:00Hi, you can see the original piece of fabric at th...Hi, you can see the original piece of fabric at this link: http://lwkoenig.blogspot.com/2015/06/quilts-of-different-stripe.html
Thanks, yes, it was wonderful not having any seams to deal with after knitting. I think I am in and out of warp mode at the moment.

Wonderful, fab and totally gorgeous sunset landscape. How can we convince people that these thread landscapes aren't too difficult, and that with the variegated threads, to a certain extent, they just happen? But ooh Mrs., I'm impressed - the tinges of pink in the water, and the trees on the far side of the lake have reflections!

Now I'm looking at the thread trees and thinking of how to put one in the foreground of a landscape...

Sweet little jumper, and you have certainly got the stripes in the wool under control.

Love, MuvMuvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00734374133479479218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7101100114126500336.post-77592204162440198872015-07-31T18:45:32.445-07:002015-07-31T18:45:32.445-07:00I really like your landscape. I think your other trees are amazing, too, even if you don't think so. (And the sweater is gorgeous. Having to sew seams is what keeps me from making sweaters, so this really appeals to me.)JanineMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13475847392355523001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7101100114126500336.post-38419964908602103662015-07-31T05:15:23.765-07:002015-07-31T05:15:23.765-07:00Hi Linda, your trees are beautiful.
